Parade of Homes 2010

We started building our Parade Homes two weeks ago. We have 3 exciting products to bring to the market. We are really excited about building in such a cool emerging town. We are very thankful to bring a vision to this town that we feel will help build community. These homes are being built very energy efficient and aim to be in the affordable market that we would like to see. This development is choice with 7 parks and walking trails throughout. A great neighborhood and community with Tamarack Homes scattered throughout. Looking forward to seeing our vision of a neighborhood through to fruition.

The tandemDUO is finished and on the market check it out on RMLS and search for 10034503. A fun project too build excited to see how the market reacts.

It matches the rendering well, I feel.

Corten Siding Installation Begins

We are weeks away from the tandem being ready for show. The Corten siding has begun and this building is really a beautiful idea coming to life. Thanks to all involved for making such a wonderful project alive.

Notice the happy accident with the illusion taking place with the siding. The perforated steel appears to have much larger holes.

The tandemDUO is beginning to take form with the siding on the outside.
We have ordered our steel siding to clad the boxes. This is a stunning design.

Here’s an example of the phenomena Corten plate steel and the natural aging that takes place. This siding will be perforated to allow for the subtle illusion of floating boxes.

Siding moving forward

Layout of the siding is moving forward quickly. The hardi-panel detail is being installed. Requires extensive layout and shims to get it to look just right.

Windows installed 90% & Mock-Up Siding

Tamarack and TruFrame started installing the Sierra Pacific Windows (doors next week). Appreciate the delivery of both, a quality window, on time and within our budget! Correction, before our scheduled time. Thank you Ken Matoon and the Sierra Pacific team!

The living room windows facing East toward Ken’s Artisan Bakery. Full height floor to ceiling.

The dining room is a wall of windows from inside looking out towards Pine Street.

An example of the stair way looking up to the light coming at the top. WORKS designed these windows to open to provide a nice draft of air flow.

The LVL screen wall being installed that the perforated steel stair case will sit nestled in between (see last months post for the sneak peak).
